VP of Sales, APAC H/F
Expliseat is a French company that designs and manufactures innovative, ultra-lightweight aircraft seats. Their flagship product, the TiSeat, is made from advanced materials making it up to 40% lighter than conventional seats.
Preferred Location: Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong
Reports to: CEO (acting CCO)
As the VP of Sales, APAC, you will be a key leader at Expliseat, responsible for driving sales and market growth across Asia (excluding China). You'll work directly with the CEO to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that expands our brand presence and secures new business with major airlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Take full ownership of the sales cycle, from initial contact to contract finalization. This includes crafting a regional commercial strategy and roadmap to ensure the growth of Expliseat in the region. Your role includes engaging with customers, conducting product demonstration, drafting commercial proposals, and leading complex contract negotiations.Your focus will be on actively engaging with a target list of approximately 10 high-potential accounts.
- Brand & Market Presence: Act as the face of Expliseat in the region. You will build brand awareness and generate leads through participation in industry tradeshows, events, and other strategic communication initiatives. You will be responsible for maintaining passive discussions with a broader pool of up to 20 airlines to build long-term relationships and a robust sales pipeline.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary local contact for our existing customer base in the region. You will nurture and strengthen these key partnerships with customers
- Strategic Influence: Provide valuable market intelligence to the leadership team, influencing Expliseat's product roadmap, sales strategy, and overall market approach. Your insights will be crucial in ensuring our offerings remain competitive and relevant to the needs of the Asia-Pacific aviation industry.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the aviation industry
- A strong network and a deep understanding of the Asia-Pacific aviation market.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, end-to-end sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout the region.
- Knowledge of the French language would be an advantage for your profile.
